For twenty years I have studied how new technologies change the way companies compete, from mobile payments and digital platforms to AI.

Jan Ondrus is Full Professor of Information Systems at ESSEC Business School, based in Singapore since 2016, where he holds the Digital Disruption Chair. For twenty years he has studied how emerging technologies change business models, industries and society, from mobile payments and digital platforms to AI. His research appears in journals such as the Information Systems Journal and California Management Review. He teaches in ESSEC's Master and Executive MBA programmes, designs executive programmes on AI for companies in Asia, and comments regularly in The Straits Times, The Business Times, CNA and Nikkei Asia. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Lausanne.
